- About Me
I love that medical writing sits in a unique position between science and storytelling, which were my two career options as a kid. I was drawn to this field because it allows me to take complex research and turn it into communication that works for various audiences, including patients, specialists, and wider communities. My philosophy is to improve health literacy so that people can better understand and take control of their own health.
My therapeutic area of interest is women’s health, including endometriosis, menopause and reproductive health, although my work spans a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, endocrinology, mental health and neurology.
I write across a range of formats, from patient and healthcare professional education to magazine features and other long-form health content. My favourite types of projects are those that give me the opportunity to translate the research and communicate complex science in a way that people actually want to read.
